Welcome to my new blog. My name is Andrea Beaty and I'm a children's author and one of the fabulous Three Silly Chicks. (Hint: I'm the one in pink glasses.)
At Three Silly Chicks, we review funny books for kids, interview people who make us laugh, and do the cha-cha with bowls of bean dip on our feathery heads.
I will not be engaging in that sort of bean dip behavior at this blog. It's undignified. Plus it gets your feathers sticky. Besides, I'm out of bean dip. However, I might be compelled to do the tango or the hustle if a great bowl of salsa comes by.
I hope you'll drop by from time to time and join me to learn what's going on with my books and with me!

IGGY PECK, ARCHITECT is a fun book about a boy named Iggy who is born to build. He wants to build all the time and doesn't care what materials are available. He makes them ALL work--including food, mud, and diapers. (Dirty ones!)
David Roberts illustrated IGGY PECK, ARCHITECT with a fun, funky retro style that is spare and yet full of cool images. Each time I read the book, I find something new and funny in the art!
